Post-Pellet Oil Coating System for High-Fat Feed
Designed for High-Fat Formulations
The oil coating system is an intelligent post-addition solution specifically developed for high-fat feed formulations. For regular feed production, oil is typically added before pelleting. However, when processing formulas with high fat inclusion, pre-pellet oil addition can cause excessive lubrication in the die chamber, leading to roller slippage, poor pellet formation, lower throughput, and higher energy consumption — all of which negatively impact production performance.
Optimized Post-Pellet Coating Process
To overcome these challenges, our process adopts post-pellet oil application. After the pellets are formed, but before entering the finished product bin, oil is uniformly sprayed onto the pellet surface through a dedicated coating system. This ensures optimal pellet formation while still meeting the required fat content and nutritional specifications of the formula.
Precision Control & Flexible Adjustment
The system features precise dosing, uniform spraying, intelligent temperature control, and adjustable ratios, allowing customers to fine-tune coating levels according to different recipes. This post-addition process also improves pellet appearance, palatability, and nutrient availability, enabling manufacturers to develop premium product lines and enhance market competitiveness.
