Ring Die Compressing Ratio

When producing ring dies, it’s crucial to select the appropriate compression ratio based on the type of feed material. For poultry feed, the compression ratio typically ranges from 1:11 to 1:16, while for cattle and sheep feed, it’s between 1:7 to 1:10. Fish and shrimp feed require a higher compression ratio of 1:20 or above, and biomass wood pellets fall within the range of 1:4 to 1:7. Additionally, the depth of the release holes in the first three rows and the middle rows must be considered, along with calculating the open area rate and confirming the hole number layout. These steps are vital in creating the final production drawings for our ring dies, ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing process.
